As all know Jeans is the most common and popular fabric in the whole world
Maybe this is one of the reasons why I started Blue Jeans Domination blog, I hold so much curiosity about it; I think I’m not alone!
The story behind who invented jeans?
Let’s go back to the very beginning, jeans were invented by Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss in 1873, back then jeans story began.
that’ wow it’s old and yet still trendy nowadays.
Jeans got its name after the city of Genoa in Italy; I never thought that it started there!
It started when Levi Strauss came from Germany in 1851 to New York to work at his family business, two years after he moved to San Francisco to open a second branch of the family business, West Coast branch.
Many years later in 1872, Levi Strauss met his future partner Jacob Davis, a tailor from Reno in Nevada. He purchased jeans fabric from Levi to make clothes for miners workers
Jacob made the first jeans design, strong cloths that last longer and bear hard work conditions.
Jacob Davis wished to expand the production of his jeans pants but he didn’t have enough money for that, so he contacted Levi Strauss and suggested him to collaborate, Levi liked the idea and approved to collaborate.
The two of them hold the patent from the U.S Patent and Trademark office together at 1873, and this date considers the official date of jeans born.

Back to Current life, Jeans is the most popular fabric nowadays; it became part of everyday life.
A regular person owns between 5 to 7 jeans in his or her closet, I check my closet and I found that I Have 9 of them.
